The 2000 Interfaith calendars are here. The full size (14 inches x 22 inches) colorful calendar runs from December 1999 to January 2001. The Interfaith Association of Central Ohio is in its 6th year of selling/distributing interfaith calendars.

The calendar lists hundreds of religious holidays from 14 faith traditions. It highlights one religious community each month. It features the following religions: American Indian, Anglican Christianity, Baha'i, Buddhism, Catholic Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Latter-Day Saints, Orthodox Christianity, Protestant Christianity, Sikhism, and Zoroastrianism.

For each community there is a summary of their basic tenets and their major religious writings, as well as pictures, photographs, and graphics from their tradition. All the information for each community featured in the calendar has been prepared by representatives from that community. The calendar has been prepared by the National Conference for Community and Justice in Chicago.

The cost per calendar is $16 (including shipping and handling by USPS priority mail) within the US. Cost for airmail (including shipping and handling) to 1) Canada is US $16 each, 2) Mexico is US$17 each, and 3) all other countries is US$21 each. For bulk orders, kindly e-mail me at butalia.1@osu.edu.

The proceeds from the calendar sales go to the everyday expenses of running the Interfaith Association of Central Ohio (IACO). IACO is a not-for-profit registered US organization which promotes peace, tolerance, and understanding among faith communities across central Ohio. The official member faith traditions of the IACO are: Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islam, Jewish, and Sikh.

If you would like a calendar mailed to a relative, friend, acquaintance, co-worker, or some other person, kindly send a note along with the payment clearly indicating the name and address to which the calendar needs to be mailed.

If you would like to buy the interfaith calendar, please prepare a check/money order/bank draft in US dollars in the name of "Interfaith Association of Central Ohio" and mail it to:
