'Amma' lights 'Aganda Vilakku' - this is a miracle performed every year - She kneels before the 'Akanda Vilakku' and licks the wick - and it lights by itself. The festival's responsibility is with area mandrams.
Amma bestows her grace on her devotees, who participate in the festival. Any difficulties or problems which could not otherwise be explained, persisting due to black magic and evil, are removed and destroyed.
