About 2300 Salem devotees went to Tiruchy in Buses, Lorries, Vans & Cars. The procession commenced from Cauvery Basin - National High School Ground. People from all over participated in the procession.

On the dais was 'Amma', Thirumathi, Sendhil. Amma was keenly observing each and every devotee and blessed them. The procession went about 5.5 to 6 kilometers.

Salem Devotees decorated a jeep with flowers and a big cutout of Amma's Padam. It appeared to devotees that 'Amma' liked it and was energising the 'Padam' by his looking it for a very long time.

Salem Mandrams are keenly interested in opening 'mandrams' along the highway to Salem - Melmaruvathur.

Amma will be returning to Melmaruvathur today, to be there for 'Poornima' on Monday.
