Home : Help Others : International Aid Organizations

Below is a list of humanitarian aid organizations which help people in need throughout the world. All of the groups listed are non-sectarian so that anyone wishing to donate to them can do so knowing that the money will be used to aid people regardless of religion and without promoting the religious views of the organization. There are obviously aid organizations with religious affiliations which do not push their religious views on people but they are not included so as to avoid confusion.

In addition to links to the sites, the phone and fax number to call to place donations are provided. Whether or not the site accepts online donations is also indicated. To try and give potential donors a little information about the groups there is a short description of the aims of each group, the year it was founded and, when available, the operating overhead of the charity.

Check The Reuter Foundation Alertnet for information on international disasters.
